Paris 2014: What to do when it rains in Paris?

It rained a lot during our three-week stay in Paris in May. On most days it would be nice in the mornings and the weather would be mostly clear by 9 pm. But in the afternoons and early evenings when we were out and about we would often find the rain. So what to do?

Well, you find a seat preferably under an awning and you order a glass of wine! And what do you do when you have finished your glass of wine and it is still raining? Why, you order another glass!

Enjoying a glass of wine at the Cafe de Paris on the Rue de Buci. I think it was a Bordeaux.

On this particular day it stopped raining after two glasses and so we continued on our neighborhood stroll.

The Cafe de Paris is on Rue de Buci near Rue de Seine and one block north of Blvd St Germaine. Our apartment was six blocks away.
