Paris 2014: Cruising by Notre-Dame

I mentioned in a previous post that we passed by Notre-Dame several times while on our walks around Paris last Spring. And we even rode by on a sightseeing bus once. Well, we also got to view the cathedral from the Seine one day when we cruised up the river with our Irish cousins.

The magnificent western facade from the river.

What are they looking at?

What are they looking at?

Oh.

Oh.

Photographing the eastern side of the cathedral is almost as popular as shooting the western facade.

IMG_7163-1This was one of those many rainy days we encountered during our trip to Paris. It rained a bit while we were at the Eiffel Tower earlier in the day and it rained again shortly after I took this picture. We got awful tired of the rain but I have to admit that all of those threatening clouds made interesting pictures!
