Monochrome Madness — Week 32

I went back to our first trip to Ireland in 2002 for this week’s entry to Laura and Leanne’s Monochrome Madness Challenge over on Leanne’s website. We spent five weeks all over Ireland that year including a few days in County Kerry where I snapped this view of Ladies View on the Ring of Kerry in Killarney National Park.

The story is that in 1871 Queen Victoria and her ladies-in-waiting stopped here to admire the view and it has been called Ladies View ever since.

I used various film cameras for thirty years before purchasing my first digital camera a few weeks before our trip. It was a Canon Powershot G2. A few years later I bought my first DSLR, a Canon Xti Rebel. Nowadays I shoot with a Canon EOS 60D.
