Back to Yosemite with Monochrome Madness

Yosemite Valley is 167 miles due east of Crow Canyon but I only get there every fifteen years or so. We had a family wedding in June of this year in nearby Evergreen (just outside the park) and I got a chance to tour the valley and shoot some of its wonders. This picture of Yosemite Falls will be my entry to week 34 of Laura and Leanne’s Monochrome Madness Challenge over on Leanne’s website.

Why don’t you wander over to Leanne’s website and see what other photographers all over the world are doing in monochrome these days? And if you ever get the chance to visit northern California, don’t forget Yosemite. It’s only a three and a half hour road trip from the East Bay.
