Hawaii 2015: The Waikiki Trolley in Monochrome

My entry this week for Laura and Leanne’s Monochrome Madness Challenge over on Leanne’s website is this shot of a Waikiki Trolley bus at a stop on Kalakaua Avenue near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue and across from the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The Waikiki Trolley offers hop-on / hop-off sightseeing tours around Honolulu’s Waikiki District. The Pink Line operates as a shuttle between the Ala Moana Shopping Center and the Royal Hawaiian Center and stops at most of the major hotels. The Green Line is the sightseeing tour to Diamond Head and stops at such places as the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium and the Kahala Mall. The Red Line stops at historic sites such as the Iolani Palace, the State Capital, and the Aloha Tower Marketplace. The Blue Line is the panorama coastal tour around Diamond Head with stops at such places as Hanauma Bay, Sea Life Park and Sandy Beach.

See here for more information on the Waikiki Trolley. And hop over to Leanne’s website to see what other photographers are doing in monochrome this week.
