Guam 2015: Guam in Monochrome — Monochrome Madness 2-7

Australian photographer Leanne Cole is now in her second year of hosting her weekly Monochrome Madness Challenge and I will be joining the friendly fray every Tuesday by posting a photo from our recent trip to Guam. This week’s entry is one of several photos I took at Tarague Beach one day.

So here is my photo transformed into monochrome via Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro:

I’ll be back tomorrow with another posting on our Guam vacation. In the meanwhile, why don’t you drop by Leanne’s website to see what other photographers are doing in monochrome this week?

  1. Beautiful work Crow!! I love SEP 2 also!!

  2. Rajiv says:

Wow … This is very nice indeed..

  3. Years ago when I worked at GE my immediate supervisor was originally from Guam. He used to tell me stories of his life there. Tales of Fruit Bats, and beautiful beaches are what I remember most. You have captured a hint of the gorgeous beaches here. I love the triangle composition with the rock formation furthest out leading my eye to the incoming waves, and wonderful dramatic sky.

I’m looking forward to more of the trip!
