Guam 2015: Tumon Sunrise

Our flight departed San Francisco at 9 o’clock one morning and after a two-hour stopover in Hawaii our second flight landed in Guam at 6:30pm the next day. The bad news is that it took our bodies a few days to get used to the fact that Guam is 17 hours ahead of California. The good news is that the break in my regular sleeping pattern allowed me to wake up around 5 o’clock one morning and witness a spectacular sunrise from our Westin Hotel 17th floor balcony.

The next day I awoke again around 5am but this time it was raining and there wasn’t much to see. So I went back to sleep.
