Monochrome Madness 2-37: Angels Theme

We drove to a community church in Livermore, California the other day to see and hear our nine-year-old granddaughter perform in her annual Christmas Recital. This shot I took of a nativity scene wedged between the piano and the microphone stand will be my entry for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness Challenge 2-37:

Nativity Scene with the Three Kings and an angel.

Nativity Scene with the Three Wise Men and an angel.

The Three Wise Men represent Peace, Purpose and Patience. The angel holding a bird represents Joy. And the Holy Family represent Faith, Hope and Love.

Now I can’t end this posting without mentioning another angel we encountered that evening. So here’s another picture of my granddaughter (she is a cousin of the granddaughter who appeared in last week’s Monochrome Madness) singing her heart out to the right of this same nativity scene. The title of her song was “Where is Christmas?”

My granddaughter singing at her recital. A couple of years ago she played the piano. Last year she sang while playing. This year she decided to just sing while her piano / singing teacher accompanied her on the piano.

Why don’t you drop by Leanne’s website to see how other photographers handled her angels theme?
