MM 3-12: High

It’s time for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness Challenge and the theme for this first week of the month is High. For my entry I have decided to convert to monochrome one of the photos I took high in the highlands on our recent trip to Scotland:

The view of Loch Dich from high up on Ratigan Pass in the Scottish Highlands.

The view of Loch Duich from high up on Ratagan Pass in the Scottish Highlands.

Ratagan Pass is 350 meters (1100 feet) above sea level. That’s pretty high! On our way to the Isle of Skye we exited Highway A87 at Shiel Bridge on the southeast tip of Loch Duich and took the Old Military Road that climbed over Ratagan Pass to Glenelg where we would board the ferry to Skye.

Why don’t you wander over to Leanne’s website to see how other photographers have interpreted the high theme?
