You never know who you’re going to bump into these days. We passed this guy one day last Spring as we were wandering along Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. So I cropped the photo, turned it into monochrome and now I’m submitting it for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge.

As you can see from the original color photo this street performer was being interviewed by a TV crew and I passed by as he was sharing a joke with the TV cameraman. I think he was pushing an underground ghost tour to be held later that night.

At the end of a TV interview a street performer On Edinburgh’s Royal Mile shares a joke with the TV cameraman.
The Royal Mile starts at Edinburgh Castle on top of the hill in Old Town Edinburgh and ends at the Holyrood Palace at the bottom of the hill. It’s probably the most popular tourist spot in all of Edinburgh.
Australian photographer Leanne Cole hosts the weekly Monochrome Madness Challenge. Drop by her website this week to see what photographers from all over the world are doing in monochrome these days and to find out how you, too, can submit your entry next week.
If you would have clipped the guy in red, it might have been a scene from Oliver Twist or something similar.
You were certainly in the right place at the right time catch this image!!
love it laddie!!
