We visited Paris for three weeks in the Spring of 2014 and one day I took a lot of shots of the Eiffel Tower including this one. It will be my entry for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness Challenge this week with its From Under theme.

Australian photographer Leanne Cole hosts the weekly Monochrome Madness Challenge and suggests a specific theme for the first week of the month. Drop by her website on Wednesdays (Tuesdays in North America and Europe) to see what Leanne and other photographers from all over the world are doing in monochrome these days.
A very interesting perspective of the Eiffel Tower displaying its strength and beauty!
Thanks, Peter!
That is a cool angle for capturing this magnificent tower!
Thanks, Amy! Three of us had the same idea for Leanne’s From Under theme!
I love this shot. Usually Eiffel Tower photos take a look at the outside or perhaps from below but of the grid foundations. Yours tackles the underbelly: elevator shafts and supports in all their engineering glory.
I’m glad you liked it!
A most unusual view! Great shot.
Thanks!
great perspective and a lovely image! Love that you choose to take a vertical image here. Really works out great!
Thanks, Pieter!
I love this perspective of the Eiffel tower.
